WHAT DOES A DAY AT YOUTH AMERICA LIKE?

IS YOUTH AMERICA A CAMP OR A CONFERENCE?
It’s not just a camp, and it’s not just a conference. It’s the best of both. Our camps offer everything from sports activities (basketball, volleyball, rock wall, paintball, inflatables, etc) to talent competitions (Youth America Idol, Overall talent competition). As well as leaders sessions specifically geared towards pastors and leaders.
HOW LONG IS YOUTH AMERICA?
Youth America is 5 days and 4 nights. Check-in is on Monday between 11am-3pm and final camp service ends at approximately 10:00am on Friday.
WHY YOUTH AMERICA?
Youth America has been dedicated to supporting, serving, and building you and your church since 1987. Our mission is to help you inspire your students to know that your local church is the most important thing that they can be a part of.
WHAT DOES THE YOUTH AMERICA CAMPUS LOOK LIKE?
WHO LEADS WORSHIP?
Our own Youth America band is the worship team and driving sound behind the Youth America movement. Having written and recorded 7 albums, they have accomplished a unique sound of high energy and passionate worship.
IS THERE ANYTHING FOR YOUTH PASTORS & LEADERS?
Youth pastors and leaders get top-level training from your daily leaders sessions. Come ready to hear from our Youth America staff as well as guest speakers but also acts as a leadership conference for your leaders.
ARE THERE AVAILABLE ROLES IN YOUTH AMERICA OTHER THAN BEING A CAMPER?
We offer opportunities for students to serve and learn about ministry through our summer internship programs and Youth America College.
WHERE DOES YOUTH AMERICA GET ALL OF ITS MANPOWER?
All of Youth America’s leaders actively serve in our local church: Church of the Harvest.
HOW DO I SIGN-UP FOR YOUTH AMERICA SUMMER CAMPS?

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CAMP?
- Notebook & pen
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Twin sheets & blanket OR sleeping bag
- Swim suit
- Alarm clock
- EXTRA CASH (for snacks, Youth America store, and paintball.)
- ALL LEADERS BRING A BLANKET FOR SMALL GROUP TIME TO USE AS NEEDED.
- Ear Plugs
- Sleeping Mask
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
Check-in will not begin until 11am and will end at 3pm. You will need to schedule your check-in time with us prior to your arrival. Please do not arrive prior to this time expecting to begin registering nor will any registration appointments be set after 3pm.
ARE THERE ANY EXTRA COSTS?
Youth America provides concession food and drinks as well as the latest clothing apparel and accessories at the Youth America Store. Paintball is also an additional cost, $10 per one hour game.
HOW MUCH MONEY DO I NEED FOR CAMP?
We sell concessions and Youth America product throughout the week of camp, so we recommend bringing at least $30.00.
HOW MANY STUDENTS A WEEK?
An estimated total of up to 800 students will be present each week of Youth America.
WHERE DO WE STAY?
Following the check-in process, you will be escorted to the dormitories located on our lower campus to unload luggage.
